The 2007 Christmas Ballet includes three new dances by Amy Seiwert, Shannon Hurlburt and Robert Sund, as well as three favorites from our archives...Blue Christmas, Winter Weather and Cajun Christmas, making wonderful additions to the 2007 Christmas Ballet!
The Christmas Ballet has been instilling the holiday spirit in audiences of all ages since 1995. Revel in the magical look and feel of this beloved holiday treat, featuring decor and special effects by Douglas Schmidt, costumes by Sandra Woodall, lighting by Michael Oesch and choreography by Michael Smuin and others.

New this year are SANTA'S SWEETS and SMUINS PERFECT PRESENT.
Santa's Sweets is a reception for the young and young at heart, which includes complimentary sweets and beverage. It is
immediately following the matinee performance on Sunday at each of our venues* (see dates below).
Santa’s Sweets introduces Smuin Ballet’s new Apprentice Program fundraiser, SMUIN’S PERFECT PRESENT.
The PERFECT PRESENT is an opportunity for Smuin Ballet’s youngest fans to meet and get photographed with their favorite dancer, for a nominal price.
The proceeds go to Smuin Ballet’s new apprentice program.
The photos will be taken by a professional photographer following the performance, and then hosted online for purchase at www.brightroom.com
The dates are on November 25 at The Lesher Center for the Arts; December 2 at the Mountain View Performing Arts Center and December 16 at San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theatre.
*Santa’s Sweets will not be offered at the Sunset Center in Carmel
