Smuin Ballet prides itself on its ability to make dance accessible for all to enjoy. This is accomplished through reduced ticket prices in subscription packaging, discounts for students and seniors, Pay-What-You-Can performances, and other special ticket discounting. During the 2006-07 Season, Smuin Ballet will generate over $1.6 million from ticket sales and performance fees alone. However, with an annual operating budget of more than $2.8 million, we need to raise over $1 million in contributed revenue in order to ensure we bridge the gap between revenue and expenses.
Every year, Smuin Ballet relies on donations from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies to ensure we can continue to present the first-rate productions you have come to expect.
