This season has brought audiences closer than ever to Smuin’s Company Artists, even from a distance. But have you ever wondered how they got to Smuin in the first place?
Last September, Special Projects Manager Ellen Gaintner sat down (over Zoom) with each of our Company Artists and discussed their journeys and experiences as dancers. These in-depth interviews offer a fascinating look at the varied paths our Artists took to become professionals, as well as the chance to spend some time with the members of the Company.
The interviews will be released throughout the month of April, and will be available for on-demand viewing through May 31.
