Our newest Center for Dance instructor, Anthony leads an upbeat and high energy tap class for the beginner/intermediate tap dancer on Tuesday evenings from 4:45-5:45 pm. This online class enables students from far and wide to join in a collective rhythm- you don’t want to miss it!
Anthony Cannarella (he/him/his) was born and raised in Madison WI, he trained at Monona Academy of Dance and later The Rock School in Philadelphia. A former company artist with Sacramento Ballet, Anthony has danced featured roles including Ron Cunningham’s Peter Pan (Peter Pan), Stephen Mills’ Hamlet (Hamlet), and George Balanchine’s Tarantella. He has toured with Amy Seiwert’s Imagery to The Joyce Theater and Jacob’s Pillow, and recently worked with Jessica Lang in LA Opera’s production of Aida. Anthony danced with Olivia Rodrigo, a three-time Grammy award winning artist, in her SOUR Prom film. He has performed in musicals including Young Frankenstein at Ogunquit Playhouse. Anthony enjoys choreographing and has created original works for Sacramento Ballet, Capital Dance Project and Ballet Project OC. @a_cannarella
