San Mateo Performing Arts CenterFor the first time in our history, Smuin Ballet will perform at the San Mateo Performing Arts Center, bringing Dance Series Two to our South Bay audiences June 3-4, 2016. This state-of-the-art theater is the largest performing arts venue between San Francisco and San Jose, boasting 1,540 seats, more than 55,000 square feet, and a three-story, glass wall lobby.

Quattrocchi Kwok Architects designed the building for San Mateo High School. The new performing arts center opened its doors in the fall of 2013, and has since housed performances by various area arts groups.

Other South Bay performances next season will take place at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, including Dance Series One from September 24-27, 2015 and The Christmas Ballet, which runs December 9-13, 2015. See the full schedule for the 2015/2016 season.
