Claire Buehler

Claire Buehler, from Milwaukee, WI, trained at the Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy. She went on to dance with the second companies of Milwaukee Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, and Nashville Ballet. In 2020, she joined Minnesota Ballet as a company member, and in 2021, she joined Smuin Contemporary Ballet. She has been featured in classical and contemporary works by Paul Vasterling, Gina Patterson, Amy Seiwert, Rex Wheeler, Nicole Haskins, and Kate Skarpetowska. Favorite past performances include Cygnets in Swan Lake, Seiwert’s Been Through Diamonds, Wheeler’s Take Five, and Skarpetowska’s Sextette. Also an emerging choreographer, Claire recently restaged her work from Smuin’s Choreography Showcase for SoCal Ballet Scene’s festival in Orange County.
