Summertime Screenings run July 3-27 and include access to three Digital Replays: Michael Smuin's Fly Me to the Moon (July 3-13), Andi Schermoly's Jane Doe (July 10-20), and Amy Seiwert's Still Falling (July 17-27). Tune in at your convenience, as many times as you like, during that window, from the comfort of home.
Freelance dancer in the area? Professional dancer visiting town? This is an advanced ballet class open to the public that serves as Smuin Contemporary Ballet dancer’s daily class. Taught by guest teachers in the Bay Area, this is a fast moving class that’s guaranteed to get you warm and ready for your day.
Pre Ballet 2 (ages 4-5) is available to those who have already taken Pre Ballet in the last year and are looking to continue dancing but are not yet ready for Ballet 1. Children will learn basic ballet positioning and terminology. We are so excited to be an early part of any child's introduction to dance! Pre Ballet 2 is offered twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
For children ages 6-8, Ballet Preparatory adds more beginning ballet exercises and class structure while continuing to build coordination, musicality and confidence in a fun and creative format. Start your child's ballet journey with us!
For children ages 7-9, Ballet 1 builds on the skills developed in Ballet Preparatory while continuing to build on the ballet class structure in a fun and exciting way!
Have a little one that won't stop dancing around? Have them join us in this 18 week PreBallet 1 class for 45 minutes each week! Geared for children ages 3-4, who have not taken ballet before, your little dance stars will learn coordination, musicality, collaboration and independence in this fun dance class. Children will learn basic ballet positioning and terminology. We are so excited to be an early part of any child's introduction to dance! PreBallet 1 is offered twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays.
A FREE weekly class for elementary aged children (ages 6-9) that builds self-confidence and self-esteem through fun dance based exercises. Drawing from a wide range of dance techniques, ConfiDANCE! encourages a child's development of skills like coordination and musicality while building a sense of accomplishment, achievement and self-worth. Let's celebrate our creativity and have some fun in ConfiDANCE!
