Studio Rentals
Smuin Center for Dance is located at 1830 17th St., San Francisco, CA 94103. Our building has been completely renovated to meet the needs of a dance company, including sprung floors, individually climate-controlled studios, and comprehensive audiovisual components.
Rental of Smuin Center for Dance includes Studios A & B on our first floor.

Parking & Transit
Smuin Center for Dance is easily accessible. For those coming by public transit, the building is within a block of four main bus routes: 22 Fillmore, 55 16th St, 10 Townsend, and 19 Polk. For those driving, metered and free street parking is fairly easy during nights and weekends. There is paid daily parking in a nearby lot.

Please note: requests made within 24 hours of the desired rental day/time may not be able to be accommodated in time. Weekend requests should be made by 12 pm on Friday.

Rental Rates
These rates are valid on all rentals through June 30, 2026. For rentals occurring on or after July 1, 2026, please refer to the price chart below.
